The movie tells the unique story of Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. It’s a love story and a story of a small nation's fledgliding decades. The main story is built on aging Jean Sibelius going through his life in the silence of his home Ainola. The story begins from the composer’s childhood, when he loses his father at the age of two. This tragedy is strongly present throughout Jean's whole life.
